For international shipments, RICAYO uses a shipping method under which we cover customs duties, import taxes, value-added tax (VAT), and other applicable import-related taxes and charges.

Accordingly, you will not be required to pay additional customs duties or import taxes upon delivery beyond the total amount displayed at checkout.

Timing of Payment

Payment will be processed in accordance with the terms applicable to your selected payment method.

For credit card payments, the transaction is processed when your order is placed. The date on which the charge appears on your statement depends on your card issuer's billing terms.

Processing & Delivery Times

Production and processing times vary by product. The estimated shipping date or processing time is displayed on each product page.

Please review the estimated processing time shown on the applicable product page before placing your order.

Made-to-order and custom products will also be produced and shipped according to the estimated timeframe stated on the applicable product page.

For international shipments, delivery times after dispatch vary depending on the destination country or region, customs clearance, and carrier conditions.

Delivery may be delayed due to weather, transportation conditions, customs procedures, carrier disruptions, natural disasters, social or political circumstances, or other events beyond our reasonable control.

Shipping Destinations

Available shipping destinations can be confirmed during checkout.

We may be unable to ship to certain countries or regions due to legal requirements, transportation restrictions, or other circumstances.

Customs Duties & Import Taxes

International shipments may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, value-added tax (VAT), customs clearance fees, or other charges imposed under the laws and regulations of the destination country or region.

RICAYO ships international orders on a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) basis, under which applicable import duties, taxes, and related charges are paid by us.

Accordingly, you will not be required to pay additional customs duties or import taxes upon delivery beyond the total amount displayed at checkout.

The total amount payable by you is the amount displayed at checkout.

Cancellations After an Order Has Been Placed

As a general rule, we do not accept cancellations requested for reasons attributable to the customer once an order has been placed.

In particular, made-to-order, customized, or personalized products cannot be modified or canceled once production has begun.

Please carefully review all order details, including colors, fabrics, messages, names, dates, and any other personalization details, before placing your order.

If, under exceptional circumstances, we agree to accept a cancellation, you may be responsible for any actual, non-refundable costs incurred in connection with payment processing or other services, depending on the payment method and circumstances.

Cancellations by RICAYO

If we are unable to produce or supply an item due to material shortages or other circumstances, we may contact you to cancel the order and issue a refund.

If a refund cannot be processed through the original payment method, we may issue the refund through another appropriate method.

Returns & Exchanges for Customer Convenience

As a general rule, we do not accept returns or exchanges due to a change of mind or other reasons attributable to the customer.

Under Japanese law, the statutory cooling-off system applicable to certain types of transactions, such as door-to-door sales, generally does not apply to online purchases.

If applicable laws in the country or region to which your order is delivered provide you with mandatory rights of return, cancellation, withdrawal, or other consumer rights, we will comply with those laws.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives damaged, including damage occurring during transit, is defective, or differs from what you ordered, please contact us within three days of delivery.

After reviewing the condition of the item, if we determine that the issue is attributable to us, we will generally provide a replacement, remake the item, or offer another appropriate resolution depending on the circumstances.

To verify the condition of the shipment and, where necessary, submit a claim or investigation request to the carrier, we may ask you to provide photographs or videos showing the product, outer shipping box, packaging materials, shipping label, and any visible damage.

Please retain the product and all packaging materials until our review has been completed.

Items Not Eligible for Return or Exchange

• Returns or exchanges requested for reasons attributable to the customer
• Returns or exchanges based on personal preference, including where the product differs from the customer's expectations or impression
• Products damaged, soiled, or otherwise altered due to the customer's handling
• Made-to-order products correctly produced according to the specifications provided by the customer
• Products correctly produced or personalized according to information provided by the customer
• Variations that reasonably arise from the nature of the product, materials, or handmade production process
• Other circumstances not attributable to RICAYO

Notification Period

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us within three days if there is an issue with the product.

Nothing in this section is intended to limit any rights available to you under mandatory laws applicable in the country or region to which your order is delivered.

Shipping Information

Please provide complete and accurate shipping information when placing your order.

Incorrect or incomplete information, including the recipient's name, address, postal code, or telephone number, may result in delivery delays, returns, or other delivery issues.

Customs Clearance

International shipments may be subject to customs clearance procedures in the destination country or region.

During customs clearance, the carrier or customs authorities may request additional information or documentation from the recipient.

Failure to provide required information or documentation may result in delays, storage, return of the shipment, or other measures taken by the carrier or customs authorities.

Failed Delivery, Refusal of Delivery & Incorrect Address

If delivery cannot be completed due to the recipient's extended absence, refusal to accept the shipment, incorrect or incomplete address information, failure to cooperate with required customs procedures, or other circumstances attributable to the customer, you may be responsible for additional shipping or redelivery costs.

If the shipment is returned to us, any refund or other resolution will be determined based on the nature of the product, its condition upon return, costs actually incurred by us, and applicable laws.

Individual Variations in Handcrafted Products

Each RICAYO product is individually handcrafted in Japan.

As a result, slight variations may occur in the shape of the flowers, application of glitter, arrangement of flowers and decorative elements, and overall finish.

Reasonable variations resulting from the handcrafted nature of our products are not considered defects unless they affect the quality or intended function of the product.

Fabrics & Textiles

RICAYO uses distinctive textiles, including tweed and kimono fabrics, featuring unique patterns, weaves, textures, and decorative details.

Because the appearance of these materials varies depending on where the fabric is cut, the placement of patterns, colors, woven elements, and decorative details may differ from one product to another.

As a result, the pattern placement and overall appearance of your product may not be identical to the product shown in our photographs.

Natural variations may also occur in the weave, threads, decorative elements, and other characteristics of the fabric itself.

These variations are inherent characteristics of the materials and handcrafted production process and are not considered defects unless they affect the quality of the product.

Product Images & Colors

We make every reasonable effort to display product colors and textures as accurately as possible.

However, the actual color or texture of a product may appear different depending on your smartphone, computer, monitor, display settings, lighting conditions during photography, or other viewing conditions.
